Che dire ... sempre meta molto diverso dal nostro e soprattutto si vedono costantemente apparizioni di alcuni mazzi che sembrano alquanto sorpassati .

di consolidato si vede ormai quasi sempre in top8 il countertop 4c, molto interessante, visto che è settato sia vs aggro che controllo con l'abbandono di daze in favore a spellsnare/counterspell forti anche in late game... e praticamente gioca quasi tutte le bombe che hanno stampato da un pò di tempo a questa parte :-D
tr'altro il mazzo l'ha giocato anche il pro Paulo Vitor D. da Rosa al gp colombus.

@ macgyver : infatti ho notato che dopo le b/r latiti combo (se non per qualche mina vagante ) , una scarsa presenza di quello che era l'aggro-control . Il grosso del field si divide in due tra :

controlli (chi a base counter top e chi controllone puro vecchio stile ) e gli aggro (zoo -non qui- e tribali) .
Infatti noto un utilizzo più massiccio di una carta come counterspell che permette una protezione nel late game da bombe a cc elevato come jace ed altro.

soprattutto che belcer :-u :-? poi burn :-u e shepter ( che tanto ha vinto solo di jace sculando [jace troppo sbroccato e carta scorretta]) :-u però almeno è una top curiosa e nn è il solito, ma imbrobabile :-D

...comunque ogni anno riescono a fare circa più di 500 giocatori , se ricordo bene il numero classico si aggira sui 6/7 cento e rotti .

Comunque, non per fare il disfattista, ma il GenCon Legacy è sempre stato un po'... "Anomalo"? Trascurabile?
Anche in anni passati hanno vinto mazzi un po' insoliti/desueti e il risultato non ha influenzato minimamente l'eventuale ritorno/rivalutazione di tali mazzi.
[Mi ricordo, ad esempio, il Madness "vecchia maniera"]

Estremizzando,
trovo che l'unico vero merito di questi tornei rimanga tuttora il primo GenCon dove si era potuto valutare per la prima volta il rapporto di forza dei vari mazzi di allora (visto che erano tempi in cui era ancora impensabile l'avvento dei Grand Prix o, comunque, di tornei con 100+ persone).
