Troppi grandi eventi rispetto a quelli piccoli. Si fatica a organizzare piccole leghe locali, che formano i giocatori. Se uno deve fare un paio di tornei all'anno perchè gli tocca fare centinaia di km, è facile che gli passi la voglia, anche perchè con una scarsa preparazione trovarsi contro altri 200 giocatori vuol dire giocare for fun regalando 30 euro alla top 8, più quelli della benzina, dell'albergo... una comunità si costruisce dal basso, e Ovino e Nebraska dovrebbero essere le ciliegine sulla torta, non la torta stessa.
Non so come si possa migliorare la situazione, probabilmente rivedendo quella che nel tempo è diventata la natura elitaria del formato, prendendo decisioni che magari faranno storcere il naso ai puristi, ma potrebbero portarci ad avere belle leghe cittadine, e big events veramente big.

Parlo per me riguardo alle ridotte presenze... Io non sono andato all'ovino quest'anno perché devo lavorare sabato notte; avrei potuto chiedere un cambio turno ma non ho voluto sbattermi, anche perché la presenza di tanti tornei fa sì che si debbano fare delle scelte (ho anche una moglie!!); quindi mi torna meglio andare al Nebraska, dato che ci arrivo meglio, abitando a Lucca, riduco di un botto le spese di viaggio e torno a dormire a casa mia! Quindi... beh sì: penso che quando c'era un solo grande torneo chi lo voleva fare andava lì, adesso che ce ne sono diversi, la presenza si diluisce un po'...
