Hi!

My name is Enric Luzán and I'm going to live in Padova from september 2012 to july 2013 because I'll study there in the Erasmus program.

I'm from Barcelona so I supose that the language won't be a problem but my italian knowledges at the moment sono molto piccole :) I'll improve.

So my question is, are there places to play Magic in Padova? I play Legacy mostly, is there any kind of italian league or something? I've heard about it once.

i'm not from padova, I don't know about magic shops there.
But if you're interested in playing legacy, there is 2 league you can join. me and some friends of mine often play on those league, you can writo to me via PM in september if you want!

unfortunately, as I can see there http://www.tipo1.it/forum/viewforum.php?f=30 there are no leagues in Padova; I suppose the closest to Padova are the Dragonsleauge and the EVIL (Verona)

In Padova there is a new shop:

Games Academy Padova
Riviera Albertino Mussato, 37 - Padova

I don't think they are used to play Legacy, but you may find cards, tables to play, drafts and constructed up to Modern.

And if you are in italy before the 20 september, maybe you can fine a way to come to Milano and partecipate to Ovino7 the italian's biggest event.

I live in Padova and I have some info for you.
if you play standard or draft of for fun you'll have no problem cause there are 2 shops where youcan play in the center of padova:
Game vision
Via Barbarigo 81- Padova

Games Academy Padova
Riviera Albertino Mussato, 37 - Padova

Every week there are 2 tournaments organized in the first shop. thursday night and saturday afternoon. Often they organize T2 or draft, but once in a month they do Modern.
Same thing in the other shop I think, but they'll do it on friday night and saturday afternoon. Also here they sometimes organize some modern tournaments.

For legacy and, I don't know if you play vintage, the situation is not so good. I tried to organize a torunament but I failed. I sometimes play legacy with friends in this 2 shops, but they don't organize tournaments. there are 2 or 3 big legacy tournaments in a year in Padova and it's good! or, as you were already told, there are tournaments every month in Verona, but you'll have to make some firend that bring you there by car cause they don't do them in verona center, but in a small town outside, so you cannot get there by train!

There will be a big legacy event in the first ten days of September in Padova,
so try to arrive as soon as possible :-D :-D

In my shop (you find all information in my signature)
we sometimes test legacy on Friday night.

Mmmm that could be nice, I'll consider it.

@bragaz: I don't think I want to play T2 at the moment, and for draft I have Magic Online but would be nice to play legacy with your friends, thanks! I'll pm you.

@I_have_a_bad_feeling: I don't think I can arrive that soon because the course starts at 1st October.
