Ciao Italia

!
Some people asked me to write little a Report of playing Legacy in Firenze @ DDAY.
First i have to say that i really dont remember all the matchups ive had in Legacy because i did not have a lot of sleep from Friday to Saturday (some people know what i am talking about

).
At Friday we arrived in Firenze after 10 hours of driving with a really broke car @ 10 o clock

.
It was Christoph Alsheimer (in my opinion the best Doomsday player we have on the planet), Alban Lauter (pretty good player, but only playing Vintage with his famous Oath Pimp deck), Marius Hausmann (a strong Vintage staxx player) and finally me.
In Firenze we meet my fratello Francesco Giani showing us everything and giving us a place for sleeping. After we took a shower we went for some party in Firenze and i really drank a lot

. Thank god i have Giani! =)
I hope its okay that i keep the report very simple and short, im not really a good report writer and did not do it since ever =D
My list was the standard list i played in several tournaments:
Main:
4 Wasteland
4 Tropical Island
4 Volcanic Island
4 Scalding Tarn
2 Misty Rainforest
4 Daze
4 Force of Will
4 Spell Snare
4 Stifle
1 Vendilion Clique
1 Rushing River
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Fire / Ice
4 Tarmogoyf
4 nimble MOngoose
4 Brainstorm
4 Ponder
Board:
2 Pyroclasm
3 Red Elemental Blast
3 Tormods Crypt
2 Krosan Grip
3 Submerge
2 Spell Pierce
So in the rounds of swiss i remember the following matchups:
Round 1: GW (Submerge wins the game like always! )
Round 2: Black Threshold (no confidants)
Round 3: Landstill (Pretty hard match going into overtime ending 1-1)
Round 4: Big Zoo (Pretty easy match cause opponent drawing nothing)
Round 5: Really dont remember the matchup anymore
Round 6: ANT (nice guy , but a goyf pressuring in both games in combination with a lot of counters

)
Round 7: Show and Order (Antonino!

)
Round 8: Rock (draw)
So i was Top 8 after 8 Rounds of Swiss with 6-0-2.
First Round in the Top 8:
1/4: Zenith Bant 2-0
In both games i really slowed him down with stifles and wastelands bolting his dryads and snaring his goyfs. And a daze for a knight i had to counter. In the first game he couldnt handle my 2 Gooses and in the second he lost against a goyf because i screwed him.
1/2: ANT 2-0
Game 1 i really had a good hand playing ponder in the first Round, Goyf in the second and countering the Stuff he needed to win.
In the second game i had a Goyf in the second Round again trying to finish him. After he Duressed my hand i had only a spell pierce to counter his stuff. In my Round i Topdecked a Spellsnare and attacked with the goyf and passed the turn.
He started to go for the combo with rituals, 2 LEDS played Infernal and sacced his LEDS discarding AD Nauseam on 14 life(?!?!). I snared the infernal and win the game.
Final: Rock 2-1
I asked him to split but he didnt want to because he had a good matchup. In the first game i was totally flood and did draw nothing relevant.
0-1
In the second i just had a lot of answers, bolting the knight (only 1 land in grave) and finish him with Goose.
1-1
Third game he kept a really bad hand i think.
He had only 2 mana keeping a lot of 3 mana threads like knight, vindicate and stuff. I managed to screw him, Forced his Sword on my Goyf and win the game!
So overall i had a very good day winning the Tournament with some really nice draws in the final rounds.
