A me vengono solo dei commenti sui nomi dei tizi (tipo "gerard fabiano non poteva non giocare il mono gerrard's verdict" o "uno che fa lake di cognome non può che giocare merfolk") e su quanto sia costante alex bertoncini, quindi i commenti seri li lascio a voi

Ma che è 'sta moda di giocare 1x e 2x a caso? 1x di Hymn to Tourach e 2x di Thoughtseize?

1x di Dreadnought in tre liste su tre di Dreadstill?

La lista di Thopter Foundry poi è davvero un cesso, come sprecare slot preziosi (3 Stoneforge+2 Spade) per un side plan che va contro la strategia principale di difesa (Ensnaring+Moat e chiusura relativamente rapida in mid game) e che tutorerà anche la Spada degli Umili, ma se tanto poi non attacchi di Stoneforge...a quel punto giocate gli Uccelli Paduli, cagnassì americanski!!!

Le liste fuori oceano boh mi sorprendono,sembrano sempre montate a caso
certe.Non so come sia il livello ma certe liste montano cose imbarazzanti:
4 vendilion clique(magari non si è accorto che erano leggendarie)mono uccello
senza altri acceleratori,mono cappa,mono gerrard's,mono repeal,mono
daze,mono tourach ecc.....ma secondo me il premio lo vince il MONO FULMINE

ma dai ... è uno scherzo ? che liste sono xD
sembrano liste di un torneo di 10 persone al baretto del paese dove la gente si mette aposto a casaccio i mazzi con quello che trova ... bo ...

A me pare che invece come al solito subito ci si butti a criticare invece che cercare di capire, ok onestamente alcune scelte non sembrano proprio ottime però:

1) mono gerrard's evidentemente era il 5° scarta 2 (visto che gioca anche 4 tourach), non un 1x a caso.

2) liste con 1x dreadnought (ma con TRE trinket), evidentemente gli americani PRIMA vogliono entrare in controllo, poi chiudono con jace o il 12/12, non hanno nessuna voglia di provarlo alla cazzo di 2° sperando di avere la protezione.

3) vendilion in 4x, io al DDay ne giocavo 3 (e anche in esteso) e vi assicuro che fare vendilion il turno prima di order è un attimo una giocata forte, siccome poi tanto non durerà più di 1 turno (anche perchè pesta per 4 con gerarca) o nemmeno entrerà in gioco, vederne anche 2 non fa tutto questo schifo, 4x mi sembrano veramente un pelo troppe,evidentemente la voleva sempre.

4) reliquary in 1x, beh forse è sfuggito che è tutorabile di zenith, e che poi lui tutora karakas che fa giochini divertenti con vendilion, e che comunque non si può giocare order, vendilion, reliquary trygon e rhox tutto in 3x, trovandosi poi 25 drop superiori a 2 nel mazzo, poi c'è il bluecount da considerare, reliquary non è blu, quindi nei mazzi che giocano il blu è difficile giocarne tanti con profitto (tranne NH).

5) sempre nella stessa lista 1x daze, forse piuttosto che giocarne 1 pure io non l'avrei giocato direttamente.

6) @gabba: si infatti la lista UGR con progenitus la trovo interessante pure io.

7) cursed totem & mistiche in thopter: non mi pronuncio in quanto non conosco il mazzo, ma può darsi che intendesse sidarlo in e sidare loro fuori.

8) thoughtseize in 2x e tourach in 1x, mi vien da pensare per ragioni di curva (e difatti con il mono tourach arriva appena ad 8 carte a cc2)

Onestamente non trovo le liste così schifose come dite voi, anzi alcune sono molto interessanti, che poi siano diverse dal nostro modo di giocare ok, ma da lì a dire "tutto merda americani del cavolo", beh dai.

Il Cinghiale Puzzoso ti punirà...

Cmq nn si può dire nulla su Gerard Fabiano è tipo una delle divinità del Magic attuale + forti, ha pure fatto risultato ad almeno un'altro star city quest'anno ed è uno dei + forti giocatori e pro player mondiali!

E cmq ricordate chi vince a ragione.

discorso 4x vendilion, boh non so come si possano difendere... è una delle creature più forti mai stampate, innegabile.
peccato che il 50% dei mazzi usano karakas perdipiù tutorabile... che fai, ti impegni 3 mana da qui all'eternità per farmi scry1?
tutti i gw e ormai molti altri zenith based decks giocano 2-3x scryb ranger annullando tristemente il beater volante che si ridurra ad essere un triste effetto discard a cc3.

intendo dire, vendilion è sempre bella. è il 4x che proprio mi pare uno spreco di slot e non per il fatto che è leggendaria (difetto cmq non trascurabilissimo)

Penso che la spiegazione stia nel fatto che l'unica win condition del mazzo (o almeno la principale) è fare NO.

Contro mazzi che non hanno fow o affini punta a fare NO e basta, contro mazzi col blu invece fa VC levando quello che dà + fastidio al momento e poi fa NO.

Magari 4x è esagerato, però non è del tutto incomprensibile.

Guarda che era a Boston, non a Vimercate....
Cmq le liste con i loro 1x le posso anche capire, come anche il 4x di vendillion.
Certo che Bertoncini è forte, il mazzo pure, ma figa, non ci sarà zoo nemmeno a pagarlo.
Propongo una raccolta fondi per mandare James al prossimo SCG open.

Parlando di vendilion:
1. Toglie natural order, bestia che fa race, barra removal, barra io sonodiointerraconlamiaversatilità.
2. Fatta in eot dopo un jace nel 90% delle volte lo killa, perchè jace entra e si cicla
3. Contate la carte blu, vendilion è il pitch perfetto.
4. Vendilion è tra il migior hate contro combo. Se l'oppo gioca spiaral tide e cerca di partire, la soluzione migliore è o fare vendillion in risposta al tournabout che lo manda semi tap out, o farla in risposta al primo high tide.
Inoltre fa una cosa che qualunque counterspell non fa: mette un clock.
5. Vendilion organizza il gioco. Fa capire se conviene andare all in o meno.
6. Vendilion è un ipotetico removal. Se l'oppo attacca con un confidant, vendilion fa un bel trade controllando la mano. Se l'oppo sta attaccando con un gerarca nobile fare vendilion e pensare se vale la pena tradare è fico.
