Congratulations on your result! It's really an impressive finish with a deck that was supposed to be dead. Do you think the Canadian version is still superior to the black splash one? I'd appreciate a comment from an experienced player, because to me it looks like the Confidants and the better removal package should be superior to the burn... but your result is unquestionable! :-D

Hmm, i really think that there is no other thresh version but Canadian which is able to be a strong Deck in every metagame. You are right, 1 Year ago after I was Top 16 with Canadian in Annecy it was a Dead Deck at that Time. But After i won 5 out of 6 Events(about 60 People each) in a Row in German Events, People in Germany Started to Play it successfully again. Till now every tournament i played i was Top 8. " Canadian is Dead " i heard a lot and it was always Fun to hear. I think the Deck has to Be tested a lot because every mistake can end in a lose. It depends a lot on the One who plays it.

Well this is probably the point... It's a merciless deck and even small mistakes can cost a lot. I guess this is the reason why you are consistently winning with the deck, while other people don't :-D Congrats again.

Hi Fabian, it's me! :)

Congrats on your big show, and such an impressive result. Unfortunately (for me) I lost our match, but our second game was a great one and even if loosing I felt ok after the match since I guess it was really well played by us both.

See you again in some other big tournament around!

Fabrizio

First Round in the Top 8:

1/4: Zenith Bant 2-0

In both games i really slowed him down with stifles and wastelands bolting his dryads and snaring his goyfs. And a daze for a knight i had to counter. In the first game he couldnt handle my 2 Gooses and in the second he lost against a goyf because i screwed him.

Hi Fabian that's me :-p
As for I remember I also screw myself without finding white mana and obviously that helped your denial plan making daze like a fow without drawback :-D
Well played tho, You're a monster with that deck, very congrats for your placement! I had the feeling, leaving the tournament, that You would have won it all and that happened indeed, no surprise with your skill.

See you, bye!

PS: "how many bolts did you played?" -"three", "I declare attack" -"I block" - "bolt on you" xD
